“Money makes the world go round”
But in what way? Is it in a way you like? Then you don’t need to read any further.
But if you are doubting the way money spins the world today, and if you can do something to change it, then read on.
There are, happily, a multitude of ways towards a fair future for us all, one of them is sustainable banking.
Sustainable banking, ethical banking, banking on values, is on its way forward, growing day by day as more and more people realise banks with alternative values exist.
Money talks. And it’s up to you and me to help deciding what language we want our money to speak.
For many years I have happily been using Merkur Cooperative Bank here in Denmark. They are co-founders of The Global Alliance for Banking on Values (GABV) “an independent network of banks using finance to deliver sustainable development for unserved people, communities and the environment.”
You’ll find some of the members listed below, but click the link to see an updated map of members worldwide http://www.gabv.org/the-community/find-members
I primarily publish this list to inspire. If you don’t live close to one of these banks, there are hopefully other sustainable banks near you working for a fair future.
